I am sure there is a new level of rants and salt coming in his future content. That's a thing they get to decide, just like the CCs get to decide. I don't blame WG though if they felt that his content was no longer something that they want to have an official connection with. CC status is a mutually agreed on thing by both parties. It's not like Flamu had no choice either, it's a 2 way street and I am sure there is a method with which to self terminate CC status if one desires. WG can't control what people say about their game (mostly), but they can control who they deem is a contributor or represents their game. I'd rather see Flamu not be encumbered by WG's thin skin. I don't see see how this helps them with that, so no. Saying WG is a "prisoner to him" is a wild exaggeration. as noted earlier, most of his cause and effect analysis of the skill rework has been pretty close to the mark. That's basically terrorism which should always be met with no negotiation.įlamu has a tendency to grandstand but if you take a look at what he actually says, with respect to WG, his criticism has been moderate, and a hell of a lot less then what I would say or have said here in fact. They are not a prisoner to a CC, for fear that that CC might create more disruption, so they must keep that person on as a CC, to avoid it. It likely will get Flamu some more viewing for a while, due to the noteriety but it's not WG "not thinking things through". Criticism is for sure a thing that should always be welcome but.his streams are often well beyond that and into the realm of toxic. In my personal opinion, it's beyond fair criticism and not a great representation of contributor to the game.
That's why people watch him, to get their daily dose of salt. His streams are basically "I am mad about everything, at all times, no matter what".
